Join us for the 15th Annual Redding Bagpipe Competition,
AKA The Tinman Competition,
brought to you by the Saint Florian Pipers Society.

During our two-day event, Grades 1-5 will compete in front
of our world-class panel of judges.
Check-In begins Saturday March 7th at 8:30am for a 9am start time. Sunday, March 8th will start at 8:00am.
Ceilidh to follow competing on Saturday at 4:30pm.

The Redding Bagpipe Competition is sanctioned by WUSPBA (Western United States Pipe Band Assoc.).
For the third year, The Redding Bagpipe Competition is a Grade 1 qualifier for the Sandy Jones Memorial Amateur Championship! This year's Grade 1 aggregate winner is Steven McElhaney! He received the 2026 invitation to the Sandy Jones Memorial Amateur Championships and a Blackwood Jeffers Bagpipe Chanter generously donated by Jeffers Bagpipes.

The Redding Bagpipe Competition is proud of our Grade 1 aggregate winner of March 2025, Gavin Guidotti, who placed 5th in the MSR at the Sandy Jones Memorial Amateur Championship competition in Orlando, Florida. Our 2024 Grade 1 aggregate winner, Malachi Johannsen, was also the 2024 winner of the Sandy Jones Memorial Amateur Championships!

Sandy Jones Memorial is presented along with the Sunbelt Invitational Piping Competition. The Sunbelt Invitational Piping Competition, An Crios Greine, is a professional grade competition with invitations to the greatest pipers of our generation, who qualify with their winning performances throughout the year.
